Woman nabbed for lifting gold ornaments from vanity bag

Jewellery weighing 35 grams and worth Rs. 2 lakh recovered

Mysore/Mysuru: Nazarbad Police have arrested a woman who had lifted gold ornaments from the vanity bag of another woman at the bus stop near Harding Circle on Mar. 7 and have recovered 35 grams gold jewellery worth Rs. 2 lakh from her.

During interrogation, the Police came to know that the accused already has a case registered against her at Nazarbad  Police Station.

DCP (Crime and Traffic) S. Jahnavi and Devaraja Sub-Division ACP Shanthamallappa guided Nazarbad Inspector M. Mahadevaswamy, Sub-Inspector Srinivas Patil, ASI Deepak and staff B.V. Prakash, S. Satish Kumar, Kiran Rathod, M. Mallikarjuna Sanju, Jayalakshmi and CDR unit’s P. Kumar in the nabbing and recovery operation.
