Woman robbed of chain

Srirangapatna – In a reported incident, an elderly woman was robbed of her chain by two unidentified women at Belagola in the taluk on Thursday.

Lakshmamma, wife of Vishkantegowda of Belagola is the victim.

Lakshmmamma was walking towards the weekly shandy, when two unidentified women diverted her attention to dropped currencies.

As soon as Lakshmmamma bent to pick up the currency notes, the two women yanked off her 40 gm gold chain and fled in a flash.

KRS Police have registered a case in this regard.
