Woman steals gold chain

Mysuru: A woman has allegedly made away with a gold chain from another woman after making her unconscious by spraying liquid on her in city on Dec.16.

The victim has been identified as Nagamma, a resident of Kanakagiri in city.

Nagamma, on Dec.16, got down from the city bus near Pathashala Circle and was walking in front of Sahakara Bhavan on Chamaraja Double Road, when a woman approached her asking for a good hospital to admit her sister who was sick.

When Nagamma told her that she does not know any hospital and moved forward, the unidentified woman, who started to follow her, reportedly sprayed a liquid on Nagamma rendering her unconscious.

When she woke up after sometime, she found her 30 gram gold chain missing and immediately lodged a complaint at K.R. Police Station.

K.R. Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
