Woman’s bag containing jewellery stolen from bus

Mysuru: A bag of a woman that contained 89-gm gold jewellery worth about Rs.3 lakh has been stolen from a KSRTC bus.

Prema, a resident of Madikeri, who boarded a Madikeri-bound KSRTC bus at Ramanagara at about 8 am on Jan.16, had kept the bag in the carrier of the bus.

After the bus reached KSRTC Sub-Urban Bus Stand in Mysuru at about 10.15 am, she found her bag missing from the carrier.

Prema then lodged a complaint  with the jurisdictional Lashkar Police stating that her bag containing 89-gm gold jewellery was missing from the bus carrier, where she had kept it. The Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
