Woman’s body found in Railway bogie toilet

Mysuru: A body of an unidentified aged woman has been found in the toilet of a train, which left for Hassan from Mysuru on Sunday.

The train which left from Mysuru on Sunday morning reached Hassan at about 11.45 am. The cleaning staff, who were cleaning the bogies of the train, found the body of the aged woman in the toilet and immediately informed the Railway Police.

The Railway Police, who reached the bogie, found a photo in the bag, which was with the woman. They later conducted mahazar and shifted the body to Hassan General Hospital mortuary.

The kith and kin of the deceased unidentified woman, who is round faced and normal built, may contact Mysuru Railway Police on Ph: 0821-2516579.
