Women Congress workers stage protest against bus fare hike

March 1, 2020

Mysore/Mysuru: Strongly condemning the recent KSRTC bus fare hike, women Congress workers staged a demonstration at Gun House Circle here on Friday demanding a roll back of the hiked fare.

Accusing the BJP Government in the State of acting against the interests of the common man, the protesters said that the bus fare hike has further burdened the common man, who is already reeling under rising prices of essential commodities.

Raising slogans against the Union and State Governments, they sought immediate withdrawal of the fare hike in the larger interests of commuters.
