Mysore/Mysuru: District Unit President of Jagatika (Global) Lingayata Mahasabha, Mahadevappa has announced that Nation’s First Women’s Conference will be held at R.N. Shetty Polytechnic premises, Shivabasava Nagar, Belagavi on Jan.27 and 28.

Addressing a press conference at Pathrakartara Bhavan in city on Sunday, he said Dr. Ganga Mataji of Basava Dharmapeeta, Koodala Sangama will preside. Dr. Sri Thontdada  Siddarameshwara  Swamiji will grace the inaugural function on Jan. 27 at 11 am. Sri Shivananda Swamiji will release the souvenir. Basaveshwari Tayi will  deliver keynote address in the presence of Sharanambika Tayi and Prabhushri Tayi. This will be followed by various seminars in the next two days. The valedictory will be held on Jan.28 at 3 pm. Guru Mahanta Swamiji will preside. Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar will be the chief guest. More than 200 persons from Mysuru will participate, he said.

District Women’s wing President Jyothi Rechanna, Usha Nagesh and Pushpa were present at the press meet.
