‘Women’s Rally for Peace’ arriving in city tomorrow

Mysuru: A Nation-wide Awareness Rally with a theme ‘Our walk towards peace,’ campaigning for protection of Indian Constitution and maintenance of peace and harmony launched by various groups of women activists, will arrive in city tomorrow.

Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here yesterday, women activist Dr. Rameshwari Verma said that out of the five teams of women, one team from Kerala will arrive in city with members from Gujarat, Kashmir, Maharashtra, Delhi, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and other States.

She further said that the rallyists would form a human chain at 9 am tomorrow in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple and later walk to Town Hall and distribute pamphlets on the theme of the rally.
