Women’s T20 Cricket to begin tomorrow: Mysuru girl Rakshitha to lead ‘Narmada’

In order to promote women’s cricket in Karnataka, the women’s T20 Cricket League will be held in Bengaluru from Aug.4 to 8.

The T20 Tournament will be held at Samprasiddhi Sports Estadio ground (near Reva University) and will see four teams — Narmada, Sindhu, Kaveri and Yamuna — in action.

The League will be played in round-robin format with the top two teams qualifying for the final. The final will be held on Aug.8.

The ‘Narmada’ team will be led by Mysuru girl and current State captain R. Rakshitha.

Divya (Sindhu), Aditi (Kaveri) and Brinda (Yamuna) will lead the other teams.
