Women’s Throwball and Kho-Kho Tourney held at GSSS SSFGC

Mysuru: GSSS Simha Subbamahalakshmi First Grade College (SSFGC), Mysuru, in association with University of Mysore (UoM), hosted the Mysuru City Inter-Collegiate Women’s Throwball and Kho-Kho Tournament, here recently. The tournament was inaugurated by cyclist Lokesh Narasimhachar. Principal Dr. T.S. Rakesh, Tournament Convenor Anthony Moses, GSSS First Grade College Physical Education Director N.J. Darshan, College Sports Coach and Consultant Krishne Gowda were present on the occasion.

About 30 colleges from Mysuru district took part in the tournament. In the Kho-Kho tournament finals, Vivekananda PU College won the first place defeating GSSSIETW (GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women), Mysuru, while PGSC MGM (Post Graduate Sports Council, Manasagangothri, Mysuru) finished third.

In Throwball, JSS PU College emerged victorious defeating JSS College for Women, Saraswathipuram and GSSSIETW secured third place.
