The Department of Kannada and English in Collaboration with IQAC, Maharani Commerce and Management College for Women (MCMCW), Valmiki Road, has organised a student-centric one-day State-level Workshop on ‘Translation: Principles and Practical’ at the College auditorium at 10 am tomorrow (Feb.7). Littérateur and translator Prof. C. Naganna will inaugurate the workshop. Dr. G.H. Mahadevaswamy, Principal, MCMCW, Mysuru, will chair. Dr. H.C. Naveen Kumar, Translator, Tumakuru, will be the resource person. Prof. Somanna, HoD of Commerce and Management, Prof. K.C. Somanna, HoD of English and Prof. Krishnamurthy, HoD of Kannada, will be present.
