The Department of Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, GSSSIETW, had organised a five-day Inter-Department Workshop on ‘LabVIEW Core 1 & 2’ by National Instruments for the students of IT/EC/EEE/TC recently under Instrument Society of India (ISOI) Student Chapter.

The resource person for this programme was K.R. Kotresh, Senior Applications Engineer, VI Solutions, Bengaluru. He explained about the importance of LabVIEW tool and significance of certification exams (CLAD) from National Instruments.  Technical details of LabVIEW tool was demonstrated with few examples of Graphical system design using NI’s LabVIEW.  Kotresh provided hands-on training for building-shift register, 1D and 2D arrays, Case structures and EVENT structures. Dr. M. Shivakumar, HoD, felicitated the trainer.
