The Department of Mathematics, Teresian College, Siddarthanagar, had organised a one-day University-level Workshop on Mathematics Practical VII and VIII for the Mathematics Teacher as the completion of the process of upgradation of the B.Sc. Mathematics syllabus of the University of Mysore recently.  Dr. S. Latha, Director, Centre for Post Graduate Studies, Yuvaraja’s College, delivered the keynote address. Resource person Dr. K. Sushan Bairy, Asst. Professor and Co-ordinator of PG Department in Mathematics, Vijaya College, Bangalore, Dr. Sr. Sajitha, Director, Teresian College, Dr. Sr. Genevieve, Academic Advisor, Sr. Anjali, Superior, Dr. Veena M. D’Almeida, Principal, Prof.Saly Abraham, Convenor and Head, Department of Mathematics, Teresian College and C. Jeyanthi, Organising Secretary & Asst. Professor, Department of Mathematics, were present during the inauguration.
