Mysuru: A three-day workshop titled “Next-Gen Research Methodologies: AI-Driven Innovations” was held at Teresian College in city from Mar. 10 to 12 jointly by the Post-Graduate Department and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
The workshop aimed to equip students, research scholars and faculty from institutions across Karnataka with cutting-edge research techniques powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Prof. B.T. Sampath Kumar, Department of Studies (DoS) in Library and Information Science, Tumkur University, who inaugurated the workshop, emphasised the need for a systematic approach in research.
He also highlighted the essential steps for conducting effective and impactful research in the modern academic landscape.
The distinguished speakers included Prof. Chandrashekhar, Prof. N.S. Harinarayana and Dr. Chikku Balachandran (DoS in Library and Information Science, University of Mysore), Prof. Lancy D’Souza (DoS in Psychology, Maharaja’s College), Prof. S.P. Shiva Prakash (JSS Science & Technology University) and Dr. M.V. Sunil (SDM Institute for Management Development).
Over the course of three days, participants engaged themselves in hands-on training focusing on AI-driven research methodologies, data analytics and innovative approaches in academic inquiry. Rev. Dr. Sr. Juanita, Director of Teresian College, Rev. Dr. Sr. Rohini, Principal, Vivek Charles, IQAC Coordinator and others were present.
