Mysuru: A day-long workshop on ‘Corticobasal Implantology,’ organised by Farooqia Dental College and Hospital, was held at the College auditorium in Tilaknagar here recently.

Dr. M.S. Jagadeesh, Professor of Prosthodontics at Farooqia Dental College, delivered a lecture on ‘Corticobasal Implantology.’ The highlight of the workshop was the live surgery demonstration on a patient which was performed by Dr Jagadeesh using Corticobasal Implants.

Dr. H.L. Muthuraj, Reader of Prosthodontics at Farooqia Dental College, spoke on ‘Steps in Corticobasal Implantology’ besides giving a demonstration on SL model.

Dr. Jagadeesh and Dr. Muthuraj advised the dentists to use ‘Corticobasal Implantology’ in their daily practice as it is simple, minimal invasive, effective and patient-friendly. It is a method/technology using corticobasal implants, to establish a bone-implant-prosthetic-system (BIPS).
