Workshop on making environment friendly clay Ganesha idols

Mysore/Mysuru: The Namma Roopanagara Residents Welfare Association (NRRWA), Roopanagara, Mysuru, recently conducted a workshop on making environment-friendly natural clay Ganesha idols for the benefit of the residents.

In all, 22 participants from all age groups, starting from 10 years to senior citizens participated in the workshop.

This 3-hour workshop was held at the premises of Deepa School and Composite College, Roopanagara.

The workshop was conducted by senior artist and sculptor Badekkila Shyam Sundar Bhat, a resident of Roopanagara. 

Bhat’s sculpted stone figurines and idols have been installed in various temples across Karnataka.
