Mysuru: Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL), Mysuru Regional Office, in association with Paul Harris Vocational Training Centre of Rotary Mysore West had organised a workshop on ‘Importance of solar energy and self-employment opportunities’ at Rotary West auditorium in Saraswathipuram here this morning.

Delivering the keynote address, KREDL Project Engineer D.K. Dinesh Kumar explained the concepts of renewable energy through a power-point presentation.

He pointed that renewable energy like solar power would never deplete and should be harnessed efficiently to deal with power crisis.

District Industries Centre Joint Director H. Ramakrishnegowda inaugurated the workshop.

Rotary Mysore West President C.S. Ravishankar presided. Rachana Enercare Director Anil Kumar was also present.
