Workshop to create eco-friendly Ganesha

September 9, 2021

With Ganesha Chaturthi round the corner, environmentally conscious residents of Roopanagar participated in a workshop to make their own eco-friendly, hand-sculpted clay Ganesha idols, under the guidance of Badekkila Shyamasundara Bhat. The event was organised in the premises of Deepa School by ‘Women Power Roopanagar’, a group of like minded women of Roopanagar, Mysuru. The participants enjoyed the workshop and appreciated the initiative. This is also in tune with United Nations Decade for ‘Ecosystem Restoration’ — Reimagine – Recreate – Restore.
