Mysuru: The Department of Transfusion Medicine of JSS Medical College, in association with JSS College of Nursing and JSS School of Nursing, has organised a function to celebrate ‘World Blood Donor Day- 2017’ on June 14 at 11 am in Sri Rajendra Centenary Auditorium at JSS Hospital on M.G. Road in city.

Mayor M.J. Ravikumar will inaugurate the event. SP Ravi D. Channannavar will be the chief guest.

As part of the celebration, a blood donation awareness rally, with two street plays, will be flagged off from the Hospital premises at 8.45 am by Director of Medical Education, JSS Mahavidyapeetha.

A voluntary blood donation camp is also organised and interested voluntary donors can register their names by calling Mob: 94811-50133.
