As the Model Poll Code of Conduct is in place, the World Book and Copyright Day commemorating the birth and death anniversaries of William Shakespeare was celebrated in a simple manner at City Central Library and its branches across the city by organising a book expo and honouring the great author. Deputy Director of Department of Public Libraries B. Manjunath inaugurated the book expo at People’s Park Library and spoke about the importance of reading books.
