World Cancer Day tomorrow

Mysuru: Marking World Cancer Day, Sanjeevini Cancer Care Trust in association with Narayana Multi-speciality Hospital has organised a cancer awareness rally on Feb.4 at 8.45 am from Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple here.

Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here, Trust Founder Ramesh Bilikere said that about 1,000 students would participate in the awareness rally to be flagged off by Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath and MCDCC Bank President G. D. Harish Gowda.

At a stage function to be held that day at 11 am at Platinum Jubilee Hall in JK Grounds, a book titled  ‘Baduki Bandavaru’ authored by Ramesh Bilikere will be released by former VC of Mysore University Prof. K. S. Rangappa.  Cancer patients, who have won the battle against the disease, would be felicitated, added Ramesh.
