World Tourism Day celebration tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysore Travels Association along with Karnataka Tourism Department, Skal International, Hotel Owners Association, Tourist Guides Association and Mysuru Tourist Vehicle Drivers and Owners Association will be celebrating World Tourism Day in city tomorrow.

An event will be held at 4.30 pm in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple when Dasara elephants will begin their training on Jumboo Savari route. Folk troupes will perform in front of Dasara jumbos all along the procession route during which students of various colleges will create awareness on tourism.

District Minister S.T. Somashekar, Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha, MLAs L. Nagendra and S.A. Ramdas, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Bagadi Gautham and others  will participate.
