Written Kannada quiz contest on Nov. 16

As part of Kannada Rajyotsava, the city’s Sakhi Foundation, in association with Surya Charitable Trust, has organised ‘Nam Kannada Habba’, a written Kannada quiz competition at Jayalakshmidevi PU College in Ramakrishnanagar here at 4 pm on Nov.16. The contest will be held under 5 sections: 1) Literature and Culture, 2) Arts, Dance and Music, 3) Folklore, Riddle and Proverbial phrase, 4) Sports and Entertainment and 5) Current affairs.

The quiz contest will have a question paper carrying 100 marks. Those who score more than 80 marks in the written test will qualify for the oral round and all the participants will be given a certificate. Marking the occasion, a 15-day practical coaching on Nudi computer programme typing in Kannada script has been organised.
