Yi Mysore fetes Army Officers

Lt. Col. Jagadish G. Nair, A. Subedar Karunanithu, Subedar Tarsem Singh and Havildar Harish Singh, who were felicitated by Yi Mysore recently, are seen with Yi Members.

Mysuru: Young Indians (Yi), an integral part of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), works towards Nation Building, Thought Leadership, and Youth Leadership.

Yi Mysore ‘Unsung Heroes’  is an initiative to recognise, felicitate and hear the journey of people who are working hard and selflessly towards a better India.

The initiative was launched by felicitating the protectors of our nation — the Indian Army.

Lt. Col. Jagadish G. Nair, who was awarded Senal Medal in 2002 by the President of India for gallantry, shared his thoughts on the Indian Army and its credentials. He was joined by A. Subedar Karunanithu, Subedar Tarsem Singh and Havildar Harish Singh, who are few amongst the many unsung heroes in the Indian Army. Akshara Kumar, Chair, Yi Mysore, stated that Yi ‘Unsung Heroes’ will take place every month recognising one star at a time. Fellow Yi Members and Co-chair Ravi Shankar participated.
