The Mysuru Chapter of Young Indians (Yi), an initiative of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), has organised ‘Young Indian Parliament – Chapter Round’ event for school and college students on June 26 and 27 at The Quorum Hotel on Hunsur Road in city.

Yi Mysuru Chapter Chair Priyanka Sridhar told media persons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan in city yesterday, the programme has been organised to develop leadership qualities, democratic values and thinking towards national development among the students. The students will be given opportunity to share their opinions, besides initiating discussion on the functioning of the Parliament and current affairs.

The students of Class 10, 11 and 12 in city can participate in the event. The participants will be provided food and study materials. The winners will be given prizes and certificates,  she added.

Yi Mysuru Chapter office-bearers Charan, Sukrutha, Amruth and Maria Andrews were present at the press meet.
