Yoga awareness programme held for DAR personnel

Mysore/Mysuru: With raising concerns over the health conditions of the Police personnel, the District Armed Reserve (DAR) had organised a one-day Yoga awareness programme at DAR Grounds in Jyothinagar in city this morning.

The programme focused on creating awareness among the Police personnel to handle stress levels and workload. Yoga teacher Pashupathy conducted the yoga class during which different yogasanas were introduced to the Police personnel including meditation and pranayama.

Pashupathy also explained the benefits of various asanas and instructed the Police personnel to include yoga as part of their daily routine which would help them in handling pressure and stress levels.

 The programme was organised under the guidance of DySP Nagesh. DAR DySP Veeranna, DAR Reserve Police Inspector Subramanya and more than 200 DAR personnel took part.
