Mandya: A man was beheaded by his 21-year-old son at Gangenahalli in K.R. Pet taluk of Mandya district this morning. After committing the crime, the accused took his father’s head to the Police Station.
The victim has been identified as Manjunayaka (50), of Gangenahalli. Manjunayaka was killed by his son Dayananda allegedly over a family dispute. After beheading, Dayananda brought the decapitated head of his father to the jurisdictional Kikkeri Police station and surrendered, it is learnt.
