Mysuru: A youth has committed suicide by hanging self in V.V. Puram Police limits. The deceased is Karan (20), a native of Uttar Pradesh and a resident of Yadavagiri here.

Before taking the extreme step, Karan is said to have called his mother over the phone and told her that he was depressed in life and does not like to live.

V.V. Puram Inspector Vinay said that the body of the deceased has been shifted to MMC&RI mortuary.
