Youth Congress files complaint against Prathap Simha

February 23, 2025

Mysuru: Mysuru City (District) Youth Congress Committee has lodged a complaint against former Mysuru-Kodagu MP Prathap Simha, at Udayagiri Police Station in the city, for making derogatory comments against the Muslim community. The Police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) in this regard.

This follows a recent comment made by Simha against the Muslims, saying that they aren’t the citizens of this country, but have been increasing their population.

In the complaint, the Youth Congress leaders have alleged that, Simha with this statement has been instigating a wedge between Hindu and Muslim communities that may lead to communal clash. Action should be taken against Simha, for abusing Muslims and disrupting peace in the society.
