In a tragic incident, a 23-year-old youth died after falling from a mango tree in H.D Kote taluk yesterday.
The deceased has been identified as Madhu, son of Lakshmana of Padukote. Madhu had climbed a mango tree near his village at about 1pm on Thursday to pluck leaves, when he slipped and fell down to the ground.
The seriously injured Madhu was being shifted to a Mysuru hospital, when he breathed his last enroute, it is learnt.
The H.D. Kote Police have registered a case in this regard.
