Youth, elderly woman go missing in separate incidents

Mysuru:  In separate incidents, a youth and an elderly woman have been reported missing from Mysuru South Police Station limits.

In the first incident, 22-year-old Chethan, son of Lakshmi, a resident of Kadakola in the taluk and working at TVS factory, who left his house after quarrelling with his mother has since gone missing.

According to the complaint lodged by Lakshmi, she (Lakshmi) had given money as loan to one Shankar known to her. Shankar’s wife Mahadevi, had called Lakshmi to her house on June 26 to give back the loan amount during which wordy duel ensued between them and Lakshmi had called her son Chethan over the phone and narrated the incident.

Chethan, who arrived at the spot, pacified his mother Lakshmi, took her back home and quarrelled with her for giving the hard earned money to someone and left the house. He (Chethan) has gone missing since then.

Chethan was wearing a white colour full arm shirt and brown pant. He has a scar on his left hand and can speak in Kannada, Hindi and English.

In the second incident, 65-year-old Jayamma, wife of Mahadevu and a resident of Bandipalya, who left the house on June 17 to attend the marriage of one of her relatives, has since gone missing. She was wearing a green coloured saree when she left home.
