Youth ends life in Mandya

Mandya: A 32-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging self at a room of a lodge he had taken on rent after leaving behind a death note.

The deceased youth has been identified as Shivakumar, son of late Puttaswamy of Ballenahalli village in Srirangapatna taluk, who was staying in a rented house at Chamundeshwarinagar in Mandya. The deceased was working as a Divisional Manager at Ashirwad Micro Finance firm, it is learnt.

In the death note, Shivakumar has asked for forgiveness from his mother and brother Raghavendra. He had spoken to his brother in the morning before switching off his mobile phone.

Police, who inspected the room, shifted the body to the General Hospital mortuary besides registering a case.
