Youth injured as bike rams into stationary goods auto

December 2, 2017

Mysuru: A 24-year-old youth was seriously injured, when he rammed his bike into a stationary goods auto on the Ring Road between Bogadi and Hinkal junction here this morning.

The seriously injured youth has been identified as Pratheek, son of Vasanth Kumar, a resident of Gokulam here and working as a Civil Engineer with a private land developer.

Pratheek was proceeding on the Ring Road towards Dattagalli on his Bajaj Pulsar bike and tried to look at the engine as it was making some abnormal sound though the bike was moving. But within a fraction of seconds, he rammed the bike into a stationary goods auto parked on the left side of the road resulting in Pratheek suffering fractures to his left femur (thigh bone). He was shifted to Brindavan Hospital near Kalidasa Road here, where the doctors are conducting surgery.

V.V. Puram Traffic Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
