Bettadapura: A youth was killed in a road accident at Ramanathapura in Hassan district on Saturday evening.

The deceased youth is Ranjan (20), son of N.P. Harish, a journalist at Periyapatna. He leaves behind his parents, brother and a host of relatives and friends.

Post-mortem was conducted at Hassan General Hospital and the body was shifted to his native place following which the last rites were held at Nandipura in Periyapatna taluk.
