T. Narasipur: In a ghastly incident, a 25-year-old youth was brutally murdered in broad daylight here this morning. The victim has been identified as Subhash, son of Rachappa and a native of Alagudu village in the taluk.

The incident occurred at a house located behind the RMC Yard.

The Police, who suspect old rivalry to be the reason for the incident, said that Subhash was brutally murdered at a house belonging to one Mani, who is involved in making Ganesha idols.

On receiving information, T. Narasipur Police visited the spot and conducted the mahazar. Mysuru SP Mallikarjun Baladandi also visited the crime scene and supervised the preliminary investigations.

The Police have also arrested Kenchappa, Sanju and Manu, residents of Alagudu village suspecting to be responsible for Subhash’s murder. The Cops have taken up further investigation to find out the motive behind the murder.
