Youth stabbed in city

Mysore/Mysuru: A youth was allegedly stabbed by a group of three miscreants over old rivalry near 101 Ganapathi Temple at Agrahara in city yesterday.

The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Kumar, a resident of Medarakeri.

Kumar, who had come near the Temple on some work, was being followed by three persons on a scooter, who reportedly stabbed  him many times in a bid to kill him.

As Kumar screamed for help, the attackers fled from the spot leaving profusely bleeding Kumar behind. KR Police personnel, who rushed to the spot, shifted Kumar with the help of the public to a private hospital.

Based on the complaint from Kumar’s parents, KR Police, who registered a case, have launched a hunt to nab the three accused.
