Youth succumbs to injuries

Mysore/Mysuru: A youth, who was admitted to a private hospital in city with serious injures, after he fell from his bike on July 5, has succumbed to injuries yesterday morning.

The deceased is Vikas S. Bharadwaj (29), son of K.S. Suresh, a resident of ‘E’ and ‘F’ Block in Ramakrishnanagar here. Vikas was an employee of a private firm in city.

On July 5, Vikas took out his bike (KA-09-ET-5616) to fetch milk and while he was on his way back, he lost control of the bike at the junction of Ramakrishnanagar 14th cross and 4th Main Road and fell from his bike resulting in him sustaining serious head injuries.

Though he was rushed to a private hospital, where a surgery was performed on him, Vikas succumbed to injuries yesterday at about 3.20 am.

K.R. Traffic Inspector H.N. Vinay, has registered a case.
