Yuva Brigade conducts cleanliness drive

Collects large quantity of plastic waste near Lingambudhi Lake

Mysore/Mysuru: The student wing of Yuva Brigade yesterday conducted a cleanliness drive near Lingambudhi Lake and collected a large quantity of plastic waste which was strewn around.

More than 20 student volunteers and students of NIE Institute of Technology (NIEIT), under ‘Swachateye Arogya’ campaign, conducted the cleanliness drive and collected two tractor loads of plastic bottles, plastic covers, empty liquor bottles, thermocol and other wastes.

Yuva Brigade Mysuru Student Wing Convenor Prajwal, Devaramani, Mahantesh, Shyam, Nandan, Balu, Sathya, Rudresh, Sunad, Narayan, Forest Department staff sanjay Hoysala and Chikkanna, NIEIT staff Nagalinga Gurav and M. Lokesh and others took part in the cleanliness drive.
