Zika Virus in Kerala: High alert on State border

Mysore/Mysuru: Close on the heels of spike in Zika Virus cases in neighbouring Kerala, Mysuru District Vector-Borne Diseases Control and Food Control Officer, Dr. Chidambara visited Bavali check-post on Karnataka-Kerala border yesterday and took stock of the situation. 

He briefed the medical staff at the check-post about the increasing Zika cases in Kerala and instructed them to examine every person who come from Kerala. H.D. Kote Taluk Health Officer Dr. Ravikumar, Nodal Officer Dr. Umesh and others were present.
