Mysuru: The following persons have adopted the animals of Mysore Zoo (Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens) under ‘Adoption of Animals’ scheme by paying the Adoption fee: K.S. Srimathi – Bengaluru: Indian Grey Wolf, Finch, Ring Tailed Lemur, Flamingo, Love Bird and Asian Grey Hornbill (Rs. 52,000);  Sharanya D. Rao – Pune: White Peacock (Rs.3,500);  Gourinandan T. Tonpe – Bengaluru: Lion-Tailed Macaque (Rs.10,000); R. Shreshta – Chennai: Grey Parrot (Rs. 2,000); A. Nitin – Bengaluru: Common Peafowl (Rs. 3,500);  Karthik Prasad and B. Swetha – Bengaluru:  King Cobra (Rs.3,500);  Hetan Ashar – Mumbai:  Star Tortoise, Common Rat Snake and Grey Parrot (Rs.5,000); Cricket Friends – Mysuru:  Love Bird (Rs.1,000); K. Karthik Gowda – Mysuru Love Bird (Rs.1,000);  H.B.  Kiran – Bengaluru: King Cobra (Rs.3,500); Raghav Shourie  – Bengaluru: White Peacock (Rs.3,500);  Amit Mahajan – Thane:  Indian Rock Python (Rs.3,500), according to the Zoo Executive Director.
