Mysuru: The following persons have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under “Adoption of Animals” scheme by paying the Adoption Fee.
Kanika Rana, Bengaluru – Giraffe Calf, Hippopotamus Calf and Sarus Crane (Rs.95,000); Chandu Narsappa Bangera, Mumbai – Common Barn Owl & Hornbill (Rs.8,500); Dr. M.S.Thakor, Mysuru – King Cobra (Rs.3,500); Commerce Forum, Mallamma Marimallappa Women’s Arts & Commerce College, Mysuru – Great Hornbill (Rs.5,000); Prama Kumar, Mysuru – Four-Horned Antelope (Rs.5,000); Rishabharya Kiran Kumar, Bengaluru – Indian Cobra (Rs.2,000).
JSS Public School
The X std. students of JSS Public School, Siddarthanagar, too have adopted a Finch, Spotted Whistling Duck, Four horned Antelope and Common Ostrich under the Animal Adoption Scheme, according to a press release from the Zoo.
