Mysuru: The following persons have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under “Adoption of Animals” scheme by paying the adoption fee:

C. Vikas- Bengaluru (Great Indian Hornbill): Rs. 5,000, Adhithya Shreyas Narayan – Bengaluru (Red-Collared Lorikeet): Rs.2,000, V.S. Sneha Manjunath – Bengaluru (White Peacock): Rs.3,500, P. Chirag Barola, – Mysuru (Love Bird):  Rs.1,000, according to a press release from the  Zoo Executive Director.

Adoption renewed

The adoption of a Scarlet Ibis and a Dhole has been renewed  by K.K.Bagai of Mysuru under Animal Adoption Scheme  of Mysuru Zoo for a period of one year by making a payment of Rs.35,000.
