Zoo animals adopted

Mysuru: The following persons have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo (Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens), under “Adoption of Animals” scheme by paying the adoption fee:  K. Kushal – Mysuru (Love Bird) – Rs.1,000; N. Deepak Mitra – Bengaluru(Common Rat Snake) – Rs.1,000; A. R. Karthikeyarajan – Bengaluru (two King Cobras) – Rs.7,000; ShobhaYashawant Uchagaonkar- Belagavi (Indian Cobra) – Rs.2,000; G.N. Suma Nagaraj – Mysuru             (King Cobra) – Rs.3,500; Nataraja Residential First Grade College for Women’s, Mysuru (King Cobra and Love Bird) – Rs.4,500; Devappa Siddappa Masekar- Belagavi (Indian Cobra) – Rs.2,000; K. Lakshathi – Mysuru (White Throated Munia)- Rs.1,000; Sanjeev Nichani – Pune ( Asiatic Black Bear) – Rs. 35,000, according to a press release from the Zoo  Executive Director.
