The following persons have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under “Adoption of Animals” scheme by paying the adoption fee: Tejasvi and Varshini of Bengaluru: Star Tortoise – Rs.2,000; G.L. Rajesh of Bengaluru: Common Peafowl – Rs.3,500; H.D. Jagan Mohan of Mysuru: King Cobra – Rs.3,500; T.P. Krislinakantha of Mysuru: Peacock and Python – Rs.7,000; S. Navya of Mysuru: Common Rat Snake and Star Tortoise – Rs.3,000, according to a press release.
