ZP CEO resolves rift between Asian Paints & Hulimavu GP

The rift between the Hulimavu Gram Panchayat (GP) and the Asian Paints with regard to obtaining a one-time consent letter came to an end with both ZP CEO P. Shivashankar and District Industries Centre (DIC) Joint Director H. Ramakrishne Gowda being successful in resolving  the differences between the two parties. Asian Paints is setting up a plant worth around Rs. 2,300 crore at Immavu village in Thandya Industrial Area coming under Hulimavu GP limits.  

A meeting of Hulimavu Panchayat members and representatives of Asian Paints held on Friday was presided over by the ZP CEO, who instructed  Asian Paints to submit the required documents to Hulimavu GP to obtain the consent letter to carry out construction works.
