Crucial road works abruptly halted

May 3, 2024

Sir,

The 50-metre main road construction initiated by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) more than a year ago, adjacent to Rathnamanikya Cycling Institute, Shiva Temple, Dattagalli Ring Road, has been abruptly halted for reasons undisclosed.

This road is vital as it connects nearby areas such as Ramakrishnanagar I Block, Karthik Layout, MUDA Employees Layout, and Dattagalli to the Ring Road. The prolonged suspension of work is causing inconvenience to residents of all ages and has resulted in injuries to several senior citizens. We earnestly urge the officials concerned from MUDA to promptly resume and complete the pending work to alleviate the hardships faced by the community.
