108-year-old Sannamma no more

Kikkeri: Sannamma (108), wife of late Doddakariappa and a resident of Sollepura village, passed away on Tuesday at the village.  She leaves behind two sons, six daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Sannamma was the favourite grandmother among the children of the village and she used to tell the children moral stories and guide them on the right path. She was also the guiding light for village elders.

Last rites were held at the family’s farm land, according to sources.
