$15,000 F3 Futures Uganda Men’s Tennis: Prajwal goes down to Lu Tyler

Mysuru lad S.D. Prajwal Dev, representing India in the Uganda F3 Futures $15,000 ITF Men’s Tennis Tournament at Kampala, yesterday lost his pre-quarter-finals Men’s Singles match against fifth seeded Lu Tyler of USA 2-6, 5-7 in a tie which lasted for one hour and thirty four minutes.

Earlier, C. Vasisht from Mysuru, representing India lost to V.M. Ranjeet 1-6, 6-4, 2-6 in the Men’s Singles first round.

In the Men’s Doubles quarter-finals, second seeded Lu Tyler and Goran Markovic beat the unseeded Indian pair of Prajwal Dev and Vasisht 6-3, 6-3 and progressed further.

Prajwal Dev and Vaisht also will be taking part in the Uganda F4 Futures $15,000 Men’s Tennis Tournament to be held at Kampala from May 21 to 27.
