Madetira Poovaiah (87), a resident of Gandhinagar here, passed away at his residence in city this morning following heart attack. He leaves behind his wife Kaveramma, son Somanna Sunil and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill today, according to family sources.
