Dr. H.T. Venkatesh (68), a retired Medical Officer and a resident of SBM Colony near Vivekanandanagar, passed away at a private hospital in city on Thursday, following brief illness. He leaves behind his wife, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Muktidhama in Vijayanagar, according to family sources.

Papanna (41), a resident of St. Mary’s Road in N.R. Mohalla, passed away yesterday at his residence in city. He leaves behind his mother, younger brother and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at N.R. Mohalla Burial Grounds today.

Shivaji Rao Pawar (64), former Corporator, Congress leader and a resident of Gokulam, passed away yesterday in city. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed yesterday.

Shiney Koreya (49), a teacher of a private school and a resident of Rajivnagar, passed away yesterday in city. She leaves behind her husband Charles D’Souza, son Rohan D’Souza and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral was held today.

C.R. Prabhadevi (73), a retired teacher of Srikantha Girls High School and a resident of Jayanagar 5th Main, 10th Cross, passed away yesterday in city. She leaves behind her brother Advocate C.R. Sathyaprakash and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill yesterday.
